Cute/cheap gift idea: Cupcake manicure sets! Unless you show up first thing in the morning when the salon opens (after everything has been soaking overnight), never, ever, ever allow your manicurist to use their own tools - that’s just asking for hepatitis and who knows what else! But most places are perfectly nice about it if you bring your own for them to use (some will even offer to let you store your tools there… but I get a little suspicious about that… not to mention then you’re stuck always getting your nails done at a single salon).
