One of my favorite nativity paintings: The Adoration of the Shepherds by Anton Raphael Mengs. (Look at the expression on the face of the shepherd in front, in the fur! He’s all, “Can I touch Him?!”)
It’s less than 1 month until Christmas! And Advent begins on Sunday! Christmas is absolutely my favorite time of year.
